We founded the Academy Women's Healthcare Associates in 1993. We focus on treating patients on all levels - body, mind, and spirit.

In addition to offering top quality OB/GYN care, our goal has always been to treat the many facets of the patient's well-being. We understand that when patients have physical problems, there are often emotional and spiritual components. We address as many needs as patients agree to, and are willing to work with us to address.

Our specialized staff focuses on every gynecological and obstetrical need of each woman who walks through our door. We have a certified licensed ultrasonographer on staff, as well as an onsite OB/GYN ultrasound ability, for everyday decision making. - an important convenience for the patient. We also have on-site phlebotomy.

We are trying to make our office a very easy environment for a patient to visit. Our goal is for her to see the doctors and providers, and get the tests she needs at a single location. The clinic covers normal and high-risk pregnancies, including twins, other multiple births, premature labor and delivery, incompetent cervix, Cesarean section delivery, vaginal birth after C-section, and other complications associated with pregnancy.

We are trained surgeons, specializing in state-of-the-art techniques such as advanced operative laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, pelvic reconstruction, incontinence surgery, abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy.

We also focus on wellness and prevention by offering annual exams as well as contraception and preconception counseling. Our staff members are available for the evaluation and management of infertility, abnormal menses, stress urinary incontinence, pelvic masses, pelvic relaxation, pelvic pain, endometriosis, PMS and more.
