Dr. Meridith Cassidy
Dr. Meredith Cassidy was born and raised in northeastern Ohio. She joined Academy Women’s Healthcare Associates in March 2002 after leaving the U.S. Air Force—where she was serving at the USAFA hospital’s obstetrics and gynecology clinic.
Dr. Cassidy graduated from Cedarville College (1988) and from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine (1993). She completed her obstetrics and gynecology internship and residency at Lackland Air Force Base in 1997.
Dr. Cassidy strives to give each patient excellent care. In all that she does as a doctor, she seeks to show Christ’s love and compassion to every patient.
Dr. Cassidy, who is married with two sons, has varied interests in serving others and pursing outdoor activities. She is a member of Pulpit Rock Church, participating in the children’s ministry there. She also volunteers through Life Network and teaches high school students through their Education for a Lifetime Program. Her favorite outdoor pursuits are cycling and outdoor landscaping.
Dr. Cassidy has a special interest in Ecuador and has gone there twice for short-term medical mission work.
