Dr. Cassidy is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Following the completion of her OB/GYN residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas, Dr. Cassidy practiced at the U.S. Air Force Academy. In April 2002, she joined Academy Women's Healthcare Associates. Dr. Cassidy has special interest in the following:

• miscarriage including recurrent miscarriage;
• issues related to menopause-including irregular bleeding, hormones, prevention of chronic conditions such as osteoporsis;
• and abnormal bleeding and the many treatment options available.

Dr. Cassidy and her husband are the parents of two sons.
